DERBY KNIGHT REDWOOD 4'' chess pieces

If we could draw the whole body of the knight here it sould be a gallopping one. Head slightly inclined, upright ears resembling two sharp corns, tousled mane and opened muzzle suggest it is in racing mood and probably running at the moment. This concept is rather rare among chess pieces that is why it makes this model so special. The whole set is carefully carved and beautiffly polished by skilled indian artisans. The black pieces are made of padauk (Pterocarpus sandalinus) thanks to which their appearence is absolutely fascinating.
