Ecology
In the production process of our chess sets we put the great importance to the quality of the product as well as fair treatment of the workers and the environment, which is why chess and other games we produce are sourced from wood that we buy from plantation only.
Special order requests
On request we are able to offer chess game design and dimensions to suit the customer's requirements.
In addition, we give our customers the ability to customize ordered wooden chess and games by placing on them inscriptions and images such as company logos. They are made by laser engraving, or a screen printing technique. This offer is specially directed to advertising agencies. Prices start from around 8Eur/ set with engraving included in the price.
Standards
Our Staunton pieces and chess boards meet the requirements of FIDE (World Chess Federation) and can be used in the tournaments. Sunrise chess sets are made of wood such as:
hornbeam, maple, beech, birch, mahogany, oak, lime, cherry, walnut and wenge (veneer) and mahogany (veneer). Please find a brief info of each tree species on the bottom of this page.
