Empire chess pieces astonish with their shape and material they are made of. The chessmen were carved in precious ebony and standard boxwood. This model is not only beautiful but also heavily (triply) weighted which makes the pieces extremely stable on the board. The set is provided with two additional queens (one for each colour).
